<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a friction device of a magnetic recording and reproducing device which does not generate foreign sounds, by holding a spring bearing member with the elastic force of an enagaging part of a rotating body. CONSTITUTION:A rotating body 5 of the friction device of the magnetic recording and reproducing device is rotated around a revolving shaft 2c of an arm 2 and uses the frictional force to a felt 4 to turn an arm 1 and the arm 2 around a fixed shaft 11. Since a rubber tire 5b is brought into contact with a load reel 22, the load reel 22 is rotated. However, if the load applied to the load reel 22 is increased, the rotating body 5 is not rotated while interlocking with the load reel 22 because the rotating body 5 slips on the felt 4. Since a projecting piece 7a of a spring bearing ring 7 is clipped by the deforming elastic force of a projecting piece part 5f with respect to engagement between the projecting piece 7a and a recessed part 5c of the rotating body, foreign sounds are not negerated though the rotating body 5 is rotated.</p> |
