PURPOSE:To detect the temp. of an ink jet head simply in good efficiency, by a method wherein plural electrodes of a piezoelectric vibrator are separately insulated and one electrode different from the other electrode used in ultrasonic excitation is used as a temp. detecting electrode. CONSTITUTION:To a piezoelectric vibrator 3 adhered to a vibration plate 6 provided so as to be contacted with the ink liquid chamber of an ink jet head, plural electrodes 4, 5 are attached. The electrodes 4, 5 are electrically insulated and one electrode 4 is used in excitation and the other electrode 5 as a temp. detecting electrode. By using the detected result, the change of a particle forming stable region due to temp. change of the ink is compensated. |
