PURPOSE:To improve the write density to magnetic medium while keeping the processing performance of a chip by providing a taper becoming gradually thinner toward the outside face of the tip of the 2nd and 3rd chips. CONSTITUTION:Tapers 24, 34 becoming gradually thinner toward the tip are formed to the tip of rod cores 20A, 30A constituting the 2nd and 3rd chips 2, 3, L-shaped cores 21A, 31A, spaces 22A, 32A and glass members 23A, 33A. A matching taper projected faces 40, 50 are projected to the inner side face of holders 4, 5 imbedded to the outer side face of the 2nd and 3rd chips 2, 3 at the tapers 24, 34. Since the tapers 24, 34 becoming thinner toward the tip are provided to the outside face of each tip of the 2nd and 3rd chips 2, 3, the erasure regional width by the magnetic gap (b), (c) is narrowered and the adjacent gap of the write tracks is narrowered. |
