PURPOSE:To execute an inspection of an apparatus containing a proram ROM before an operation control of the apparatus, by inspecting the contents of the program ROM which has stored control procedures of the apparatus, in accordance with an inspecting program. CONSTITUTION:In a microcomputer for controlling an apparatus body 1, an ROM31 which has programmed control procedures of the apparatus in advance, an inspecting program ROM32 for inspecting not only said storage contents but also storage contents of itself, and an inspection result ROM33 which has stored a correct result in advance are contained. In this state, when an electric power supply to the apparatus 1 is turned on, the inspecting program ROM32 is executed in order by processing of a CPU, its operation result is compared with the inspection result ROM33, and a bit drop, etc. of the program ROM31 containing the inspecting program ROM32 are inspected. Accordingly, in advance, it is possible to easily disriminate whether the apparatus is operated normally or not. |
