PURPOSE:To obtain a measuring device which is superior in resistance to noise and resistance to induction and is capable of remote measurement, by using a fluorescent material, which emits the light when radiant rays are irradiated, and observing the light from this fluorescent material through an optical cable. CONSTITUTION:Radiant rays 2 radiated from a radioactive source 1 are made incident from a window 3 of a shield box 5 onto a radiation sensor 4 consisting of a fluorescent material such as a fluorescent stone. Then, the fluorescent is emitted and is received on an end face 6' of a condenser lens of an optical cable, and this light is propagated through an optical cable 6 and is converted to an electric signal by photodetector 7, and this electric signal is compared with a reference voltage Vs through an amplifier 8 and a differential amplifier 9 and is read on a level meter 10. Thus, a radiation measuring device is obtained which is superior in resistance to noise and resistance to induction and is capable of remote measurement. |
