Purifying water - using ion exchange resin or activated charcoal

Water purifying apparatus is made of two parts, one bowl shaped and the other cylindrical, removably joined together. The bases of the two containers are perforated and between the two container bases are placed water purifying granules. The granules are insoluble in water and the perforations are smaller in size than the granules. The apparatus may be used for the demineralization of water for use in batteries.
