<p>The transmission consists of an engine, epicyclic gearbox, fluid coupling and differential. The gearbox has a rotating cage (4). In the forward gears the drive is through gears with two coupled. In reverse the drive is through other gears with the two uncoupled and one locked. The speed variation is achieved with a fluid coupling between two gears. The torque is varied by adjustment of the coupling whose control is connected to the acceleration linkage.</p> |
