A doorstop device, comprises a flat base and a bulged elastic stop, engaged between the flat base and held by a circular rim integral with this base. The mounting device comprises a cylindrical part (10) which interacts with a preshaping cylinder (14) fitted with a central stop (16), in order to make a rubber disc (12) into the shape of a spherical cap (18). A tubular part (19) which can be slid in the direction of the arrow (B) inside the hollow cylindrical part (10), makes it possible to push back the spherical cap (18) and to set it on the baseplate. <IMAGE>
