摘要 PURPOSE:To transfer images with a high density, favorable uniformity and excellent abrasion resistance, by forming a transfer layer out of a granular coloring material, resin particles not containing a dye or pigment, and a wax. CONSTITUTION:A transfer layer provided on a base comprises a granular coloring material comprising a dye and/or a pigment bound by a binder having a melting or softening point of 60-150 deg.C, resin particles having a melting or softening point of 60-120 deg.C and not containing a dye or pigment, and a wax having a melting or softening point of 60-120 deg.C. The dye or pigment may be an inorganic or organic dye or pigment ordinarily used in printing inks, coating materials or the like, e.g., carbon black or disazo yellow. The coloring material, which is particulate, preferably has an average particle diameter of 0.1-5mum, and preferably comprises about 5-100pts.wt. of the binder per 1pts.wt. of a coloring agent. The resin particle preferably has an average particle diameter of 0.1-5mum. The wax is used as a binder for holding the granular coloring material and the resin particle on the base.
