An annular body (7) made of an elastic material, such as, for example, rubber or plastic, is arranged at the borehole-side end of a tension member (2) for a resin bolt. The annular body (7), sealing the annular space (8) between the tension member and the borehole wall (9), frictionally encloses the tension member (2) in such a way that it can be displaced along the tension member (2) upon insertion of the tension member (2) into the borehole (1) while exerting pressure on the synthetic resin (12). Resin flowing back, for instance, will be stopped by the annular body (7) directly after destruction of the cartridge and will be thrust back under compression. The frictional connection between the annular body and the tension member is so great that, when the tension member is screwed in onto the resin, which at first is pasty after the intermixing, a limited pressure is applied in the direction of the borehole end, while the tension member itself is pushed through the annular body with this pressure being maintained. <IMAGE>
