PURPOSE:To readily and largely increase the torque of a step motor without decreasing its frequency characteristic by forming a swelled part corresponding to an axial direction of pole teeth of the motor at the pole teeth forming part of a frame plate and then punching the forming part corresponding to a tooth form. CONSTITUTION:A swelled part 19 of approximately trapezoidal shape is formed corresponding to the axial length of a pole tooth 18 formed by pressing and hence the height H2 largely exceeding 1/2 of the bore D1 of the tooth 18 at the center of a plate 17 forming a stator, a swelled part 19 forming part is then punched corresponding to the profile of the tooth 18, and the punched part is then bent at a right angle by belling. In this manner, the axial size of a rotor is increased without varying the diameter of the rotor, and the torque of the motor can be readily and largely increased without decreasing its frequency characteristic. |
