<p>PURPOSE:To reject the read when a label code for another goods is stuck, by detecting a bar-code signal inputted within a certain time and demodulating this signal and holding it after discriminating left and right parts and comparing all characters in left and right blocks with each other. CONSTITUTION:The read signal of a bar-code is transmitted to a counting circuit 1, and ''1'' and ''0'' are outputted for black bars and white bars respectively. A start signal is generated by a start signal detecting circuit 2 and is controlled in a controlling part 6, and the character demodulation is performed in a character demodulating circuit 3 in accordance with lengths of ''1'' and ''0'', and a center code is detected by an end signal detecting circuit 4. These outputs are processed in a left and right discriminating circuit 7 and are stored in a holding circuit 8. If a label for another goods is stuck and bar-code data of two labels are demodulated and held in the circuit 8, characters in left and right blocks are compared with each other in first and second comparing circuits 9 and 10. If a information is not coincident as the result, the read is rejected as an erroneous read.</p> |
