PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of a fiber plate, by introducing a light from a light source effectively in a gap between a transmitted original and the fiber plate. CONSTITUTION:For example, an optical guide 6 one end of which is optically coupled with a light source 1 is provided between an optical fiber plate 3 in which an optical fiber bundle 4 is vertically implanted and a transmitted original 2 as a light source irradiating means, the light of the light source 1 transmits in the optical guide array 6 and is introduced to the front part side of a log of optical fiber bundles 4 vertically inserted to the optical fiber plate 3, that is, the side of reading start, and an optical signal L' irradiated on the original 2 and reflected from the original 2 transmits the optical fiber bundles 4 and is converted into an electric signal at an optical sensor 5. Thus, in the optical fiber plate 3, the fiber bundles 4 can be provided vertically to the said optical fiber plate. |
