An electrode is proposed for the production of manganese dioxide. The electrode comprises two metal plates, of which at least one is corrugated, in order to stiffen the electrode. The two metal plates are connected by a suspended rail. According to the invention, the tubes formed by the corrugations contain a filler which stiffens the anode and/or protects the inside of the anode against corrosion. |
