<p>PURPOSE:To make full use of an efficienct air-speed region, by tilting a tail blade by approx. 90 degrees to a windmill rotor shaft when wind velocity exceeds a limit of a certain value, in case of a wind power-generating system. CONSTITUTION:When wind pressure imposed on the surface of rotation of a blade 1 is intensified, force of this wind pressure is transmitted to a movable nacelle 18 which is moved toward a tail blade through a fixed necelle 19 inside. Therefore, an arm 21 moves round and unfastens a connection of the other end of an arm 23. So, this arm 23 is jerked by a spring 24 and moves round, simultaneously having a tail blade 4 rotated. When this tail blade is tilted against a rotor shaft 2, it receives direct wind pressure and tilts the surface of rotation of the windmill according to a shaft of wind; the windmill output and revolving speed is made to be zero.</p> |
