PURPOSE:To prevent exposure from starting in the middle of an original, and to achieve invariably accurate image exposure, by starting the scanning of an original placing table by a detection signal for showing that the original placing table is at its home position, and a copying preparation completion signal. CONSTITUTION:To one input terminal of a two-input AND gate 315, a signal CBHP showing that an original placing table is at its home position is applied, and from a terminal 271, a copying preparation completion signal CCMD for detecting the presence of a developer and transfer paper is also applied. To set a flip-flop 324, the original placing table should be at the home position while copying preparations are completed. Therefore, when an orginal placing table advancing signal CBFOR is outputted, the original placing table moves forth from the home position without fail and exposure never starts at a shifted position, performing invariably accurate image exposure. |
