The burner is for solid fuel, pref. pellets, and has a rotatable combustion chamber opening forwards. Fuel is fed in towards the rear by a screw transporter through a tube passing to a cross wall in the rear end of the combustion chamber. - Inside a fixed casing, which encloses the screw transporter front part and the combustion chamber, is a chamber which at the rear passes the cross wall and extends on the outside of the combustion chamber to its front part. Combustion air entering the chamber is conducted radially into the combustion chamber through a number of holes in its wall. |
