PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of grease from the titled meter cable by a method wherein a specific coupling key is rotatably supported within a coupling jig mounted on an outer tube of the meter cable. CONSTITUTION:A connecting section 4a of the coupling key 4 which is arranged within the coupling jig 2 fixed to one end of the outer tube 1a of the meter cable 1 is fixed to a rotatable inner shaft 1b and a square columnar coupling shaft 4b is provided at the end of the key 4 opposite the connecting section 4a so as to be covered by a bell 2a provided at one end of the coupling jig to thereby form a socket. Further, a rotary vane 4e provided on the inner surface of a disk-like flange 4d formed at a base 4c of the key 4 and an annular bearing chamber 2c for receiving the flange 4d is provided at a base 2b of the coupling jig. With the above structure, the flow of the grease toward the cylindrical surface of the flange 4d within the chamber 2c is reversed by the vane 4e to thereby prevent the leakage of the grease. |
