PURPOSE:To improve the cooling performance by forming a part of a cooling plate interposed between power flat semiconductor elements in ?-shape and extending and disposing bent projection pieces to the space around the semiconductor element. CONSTITUTION:In a cooler in which a plurality of cooling plates 1 are mounted in a multilayer manner at both sides of a thyristor 2, cooling plates are partly bent in ?-shaped cooling plates 7, 1 and the bent cross pieces 7a are extended and disposed to the space for surrounding the thyristor 2. Accordingly, since the space around the thyristor 2 is uniformly occupied by the plates 7, the cooling capacity can be improved, and the entire cooler can be reduced in size. |
