PURPOSE:To attain automatic switching with automatic selection of a station with better reception level for the same content of broadcast, by using a reception level deciding circuit, a demodulation level detecting circuit and a controlling section. CONSTITUTION:If a station having much reception level than that of a station during reception at present exists, the reception is switched to this station of higher reception level, and the reception level is fetched from a level deciding circuit 3 to a control section 5, an output of a demodulation level detecting circuit 4 is checked. If voice breaks the same as the present station, it is decided that the broadcast is possibly the same content and this station is stored in a check station data area 6b. The check of this station is again performed at the next break of voice and when the same voice breaks exist in several - several tens of times, it is decided the same broadcast content and the present station is switched to this station. Thus, when the reception level check is finished for the frequency data in a memory device 11, the frequency date compared in a control section 5 is returned to the area 6b and a station being newly received is retrieved while changing the data sequentially. |
