PURPOSE:To automatically determined a tool replacing position without careful calculation and mechanical skill by automatically finding a point the most close to a material in which the tool can be replaced without interferene with the material through operation and replacing the tool in the point. CONSTITUTION:The 1st to the 4th cutting tools 8-11 are mounted on a cutter board 7. Distances l1-l4 from the leading ends of respective tools to the rotational center of the cutter board are stored in a memory. The maximum distance l1 is found out of these distances l1-l4 and a point separated in the X and Z directions by said maximum value l1 from lines separated from the shape of a material by clearances DELTAX and DELTAZ set up by parameters is made coincide with the rotational center of the cutter board 7 to use the point as a tool replacing point. |
