ELECTRONIC DICTIONARY DEVICE CAPABLE OF OUTPUTTING FREQUENCY DATA OF REFERRING TO DICTIONARY

PURPOSE:To obtain a device which is useful to master important words by providing a dictionary referring frequency data memory which stores data about the number of times of referring to a dictionary as for plural words and outputting the data with relation to dictionary data. CONSTITUTION:Document data stored in a text memory 56, the dictionary data stored in an electronic dictionary 57 and frequency data stored in the dictionary referring frequency data memory 68 are respectively transferred to a character generator 60. Based on the data the generator 60 supplies pattern data which expresses the respective characters such as characters or numerals to a printer driver 64 and a display controller 66. The driver 64 and the control ler 66 store the supplied pattern data in their built-in memories and at the same time make a printer 4 and a liquid crystal display 6 actuate based on the stored data.
