Guided scattered mine

A guided scattered mine (shell) has a homing head which compares terrain images detected by a sensor with stored terrain images. The scattered mine is intended to be deployed objectively at locations which can be predetermined. For this purpose, the guidance device (2) of the scattered mine is provided with guidance signals from an image comparator (3). An image memory (1) is programmed with predetermined terrain contours. The selection of the images to be compared is limited in such a manner that the data flow is restricted on the basis of the signals from a separation (proximity) sensor (4) and/or from a timer (5). <IMAGE>
