CONSTITUTION:When a motor 16 is rotated to rotate a gear 11 mounted on cam threads 2 in a direction C, the threads 2 are rotated by unidirectional clutches 12, 14, a platen shaft 7 is not rotated, and a gear 13 is idled. At this time, a carriage 1 is moved to perform printing. When the carriage 1 is moved to the end, a microswitch 3 or 4 is connected, and the motor 16 is reversely rotated by the operation of a controller 10. At this time, the gear 11 is rotated in a direction D, the threads 2 are not rotated via the clutches 12, 14, only the platen shaft 7 is rotated, and the sheet is fed. When the sheet is thus fed, a sheet feeding switch 9 is contacted, the motor 16 is rotated normally through the controller 10, and the carriage is moved. |
