Gang saw, in whose frame a plurality of saw blades are fixed at predetermined spacings by distance pieces using a pressure recorder and the buckle shaft of the saw buckle provided at each saw-blade end is supported on the frame at one end by a mounting simultaneously permitting stretching of the saw blade and has, at the other end, a holder serving for positive connection to the saw blade in the pulling direction, which holder is pivotably mounted on the shaft by a pin and consists of two plates which receive the saw-blade end having holding strips for mounting between them and likewise have holding strips, the distance pieces being inserted in mountings which have wedge-shaped undercuts and are provided in each case on one outer side of the plates forming the holder of the saw buckle, in the region of the holding strips.
