PURPOSE:To prevent the supply of originals to a wrong insertion port with simple constitution in a copying machine having functions of unmagnification and variable magnifications by interlocking the opening and closing members provided in original insertion ports to a mangnification selecting member thereby opening and closing the isnertion ports as desired. CONSTITUTION:Opening and closing members 40, 41 having door parts 47, 49 are pivoted freely turnably to revolving shafts 43, 45 in original insertion ports 7, 7' for unmagnification and variable magnification copying, and both are connected by a connecting member 50. The pin 51 at the center of the member 50 is fitted into the long hole 53 of a magnification selecting lever 52. When the lever 52 is pushed downward in the stage of unmagnification copying, the member 50 moves downward and the member 40 rotates around the shaft 43, then the part 47 moves upward, the inlet 7 opens and the inlet 7' is closed. In the stage of variable magnification copying, the lever 52 is moved upward, and the operation reverse from the above takes place. Therefore, the malfunction of supplying the original to the wrong insertion port in unmagnification and variable magnification copying is prevented. |
