PURPOSE:To obtain a number of cut strips of sheet file without abrasion of a tool edge, by a method wherein abrasive grains are attached to a base sheet of the strips of file, thereby forming an abrasive surface after cutting, on a release paper, the base material which is affixed on a sheet of paper by the use of a labeling machine. CONSTITUTION:A base sheet is formed by completely cutting a base material such as base paper 2 affixed on release paper 1, using a cutting tool having a number of edges protruding out in a form of die-cutting lines 4 arranged rectangularly. On this base sheet, abrasive grains 6 are fixed with an adhesive 5, forming a number of strips of sheet file 7 in parallel each enclosed with a frame section 8 on the release paper 1, such that when pinched at one end off from the release paper 1, the frame section 8 thus formed, being continuous, can be peeled off, leaving the strips of sheet file on the base sheet along the die-cutting lines 4. Thus the strips of sheet file with release paper can be obtained without accompanying excessive abrasion of the cutting tool edge. |
