PURPOSE:To reduce secular change and to increase shock resistance, by supporting an oscillator so that a broadwise center line of a base of a tuning fork type oscillator in harmonic oscillation with bending is clipped from both sides. CONSTITUTION:A displacement of a basic oscillation at a base of a tuning fork type quartz oscillator is large. But the displacement of a center line of the base of two arms of the tuning fork is zero. The oscillation given to a case through supporting members can be reduced with the support on the line. Supporting members 42 and 43 in common use for electric leads to apply an energizing electric field are provided on the broadwise center line of the base. Thus, since the contact between the supporting members and the oscillator is a line contact, the excellent shock resistance is obtained. |
