PURPOSE:To stop the transmission afterwards, by receiving an interruption data from the secondary station with the primary station within a monitoring period during the data transmission from the primary station to the secondary station. CONSTITUTION:In a system transmitting data with a control means through a semi-duplex transmission line between a communication controller (primary station) 1 and a printer terminal (secondary station) 7, when the primary station 1 sequentially transmits data in a transmission buffer 3 from a transmission/reception circuit 4 and a control circuit detects a return code in the transmitted data, the circuit 2 transmits and switches the circuit 4 to be receptionable to monitor lines. The secondary station 7 receives the reception data at a transmission/ reception circuit 10 and prints it with a printer 14, and if the necessity to interrupt the transmission of the primary station 1 takes place, an interruption key 12 is depressed to store the interruption data in a transmission buffer 9, and when a return code is detected by a control circuit 8, the interruption data is transmitted. The primary station 1 stops the transmission operation after receiving the code. |
