<p>Two parallel plates (2,3) of a gyromagnetic material are mounted against each other with their side faces (2a,3a) glued to two conducting plates (5,6) mounted parallel to them. The conducting plates are made of soft iron and their side faces fixed to the parallel plates are ground and covered with a layer of silver. The conducting plates form side faces of a rectangular box (10) protecting the isolator. The two side plates are screwed (12) together and the box is closed by upper (15) and lower (16) plates each with a U-shaped longitudinal section. Two absorbent loads (18,19) are applied against each other and are mounted on the parallel plates. A copper conductor (22) is placed between the parallel plates and the loads and is connected to input and output connectors. A polarising magnet (30) is mounted in the base.</p> |
