Each of the two switch drives (1, 2) has a screw spindle (13, 23) which can be rotated by motor and/or manually and on which a travelling nut (15, 25) runs which drives a switching shaft (151, 251) via a pivoting lever (150, 250). A link (19, 29) which can be moved by the travelling nut (15, 25) is allocated to each drive (1, 2) and is mechanically connected (30) to the other link (29, 19) such that the two links (19, 29) can move only together. Each link (19, 29) has three possible positions, namely an off position, an on position and a locked position. The two links (19, 29) are always located together in the off position. If one link (29) is moved by the travelling nut (25) from the off position into the on position, then it moves the other link (19), via the mechanical connection (30), from the off position into the locked position, in which it mechanically locks (16 and 140) the associated drive. <IMAGE>
