PURPOSE:To facilitate installation of a pallet transfer mechanism in a foctory with limited floor area by making the mechanism so that it occupties a similiar area to the area occupied by the pallet and thereby performing carrying in and out of works to and from the maching table of the machine tool. CONSTITUTION:Motor A is put in operation to rotate a screw shaft 22L for the purpose of sliding the slide metals 27L, 27R furnished on the forks 31L, 31R protrude from the front and back sides of pallet 11A, respectively, and when the hook 32L comes in mating with a detent metal 35 at the beckmost end of the pallet 11A, an oil hydraulic cylinder is actuated to put the hook 32L in engagement with the detent metal 35. When the motor M is rotated reversely to move the pallet 11A liftwise, and the hooks 32L and 32R are located in an idential position, the hydraulic cylinder is actuated to put the hook 32R in engagement with the detent metal 35. Then the motor M is rotated in the regular direction to move the pallet 11A further leftwise. |
