PURPOSE:To obtain a potentiometer element with a wide range of resistance variation, by arranging a photo-conductive film and an electrode metal film on both sides of a resistance film. CONSTITUTION:A unit element is constituted by arranging a photo-conductive film 2 and an electrode metal film 3 on both sides of a resistance film 1. A potentiometer is made by providing input and output electrodes on both sides of the element resistance film 1. This reduces the resistance between terminals at light irradiation as compared to that before light irradiation. The potentiometer element with a wide range of resistance variation can be obtained. |
