Uninterruptable power supply for DC loads

An uninterruptable power supply for DC loads, especially for computer systems, consisting of a power supply section which can be expanded in a modular manner and of an interruption supply section which can be plugged on and has an energy store which is followed by a DC/DC step-up converter whose output can be connected to the input of a DC/DC step-down converter (which follows the mains power supply rectifier) of the power supply section, and the output voltages of the electrical power supply being capable of being connected and disconnected to and from the load in a specific sequence by means of switchable in-phase voltage regulators.
