PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-sensitive dichroic recording paper having excellent color of 140 deg.C or higher and capable of suppressing the color development of a leuco dye as a desensitizer to the leuco dye. CONSTITUTION:A heat-sensitive color developing layer, containing a color developing agent composed of two kinds of granular leuco dyes 1 and 2 having different color developing temperature and capable of giving different colors after color development and a developer composed of an acidic substance capable of developing the color developing agent while heating, is mixed with about 0.2- 10pts.wt. desensitizer 3, e.g., 2,3,5-trimethylnaphthalene-aluminium stearate, per 1pt.wt. leuco dye. The heat-sensitive color developing layer 5 containing the low- temperature color developing dye 1, the high-temperature color developing dye 2, the desensitizer 3, and fine developer particle 4 is applied on a support 6 and dried. |
