APPARATUS FOR DETECTING FLOW RATE AND TEMPERATURE OF FLUID

PURPOSE:To maintain characteristic of magnetic substance protected from rust or the like by driving a rotor arranged in a chamber independent in substance of a passage through a shift supporting an impeller with the rotation of the impeller on the flow of a fluid. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 10 in a passage 4 is arranged along the axis thereof 4 extending to an inflow port 2 at one end thereof while into a chamber 7 at the other end. A spiral impeller 16 is housed in the passage 4 while the shaft 10 runs through the center thereof in such a manner as to be pulled into or out of the chamber 7 along the axis thereof. A rotor 21 made of a dielectric such as nylon is housed in the chamber 7. The rotor 21 is driven through the shaft 10 with the rotation of the impeller 16 on the flow of a fluid. This protects a magnetic substance in the fluid from rust or the like thereby maintaining the characteristic thereof almost constant for a long time.
