PURPOSE:To increase the strength of treated ground, by mixing an aqueous solution of sodium silicate with a liquid obtained by adding glyoxal to an aqueous solution of a mixture of sodium hydrogen sulfate and potassium chloride, before use, injecting the mixture into the ground, and gelatinizing the mixture in the ground. CONSTITUTION:(A)An aqueous solution of sodium silicate and (B)a liquid obtained by adding (i)one or more compounds selected from glyoxal, ethylene carbonate, propylene carbonate and gamma-butyrolactone to (ii)aqueous solution of a mixture of sodium hydrogen sulfate and potassium chloride or an aqueous solution of a mixture of (iii)magnesium oxide or magnesium hydroxide and//or(iv)one or more compounds selected from sodium dihydrogen phosphate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, disodium hydrogen phosphate, dipotassium hydrogen phosphate, aluminum sulfate, magnesium sulfate, magnesium chloride and potassium alum, are prepared separately. Both liquids are mixed together before use, and injected and gelatinized in the ground to stabilize the ground. |
