PURPOSE:To freely, continuously and variably set the contracting or magnifying factor of a reading picture, by arbitrarily setting a sampling interval of reading data variably without being limited to a specific integer relation. CONSTITUTION:A period detecting circuit 8 generating a signal corresponding to a period T1 of a moving pulse P1 and a variable frequency osicllating circuit VOC9 oscillated in a period T2 corresponding to the output value of the circuit 8 are provided. A detection circuit 8 and an adjusting circuit 10 for input and output of the VOC9 are provided to continuously change the reading sampling interval. An input voltage kV1 (where; k is the coefficient of the circuit 10) is given to the VCO9 and a pulse P2 controlled with the kV1 is applied to a processing circuit 6 as a sampling timing signal. Thus, the relation of (1/T1)= n/kmX(1/T2) is obtained, where (m) and (n) are constants. Then, the sampling interval of the reading data DO can be varied with the coefficient k. Thus, the contracting and magnifying factors of a picture can continuously be made. |
