PURPOSE:To increase the quality of a synthesized screen by applying a soft key signal and a color eliminating NTSC signal to an effect amplifier. CONSTITUTION:An input NTSC signal Sin is inputted to a Y/C separating circuit 101. Separated luminance signal Sy and Sc are inputted to a synthesis circuit 109, a color rejection circuit 107 and a color discriminating circuit 106. The output of a processing circuit 108 processing the amplitude of a linear signal Sl from the circuit 106 is inputted to the synthesis circuit 109. The processing circuit 108 makes the adjustment of the amplitude and timing of the signal Sl to control the linear gate of the circuit 109 and a background signal SB is applied to the circuit 109 as a video signal. A chromachy synthesizing signal is obtained from the circuit 109 as a conversion NTSC signal Sout. |
