The device comprises a core of magnetic conductive material working in conjunction with relatively moving magnet poles. One (7) of the core (6) parts working with the magnet poles (2,3) is magnetically connected to a laterally positioned arm (9), also of magnetic conductive material, which is displaced in relation to the core part (7) in the direction of the pole movement path. - At least one of the magnet poles has its field extending sideways, so that when the magnet poles (2,3) move relatively to the core (6), the arm conducts flow before of after the core part (7) connected to it. The core (6) comprises first and second (7,8) legs, the ends of which work with three magnet poles (2,3) fitted on a flywheel (1) cover surface.
