PURPOSE:To effectively cancel impact energy produced in an elevator door at time of closing by providing a projection capable of contacting corresponding to deformation of a rubber on a hollow interior of a doorstop rubber. CONSTITUTION:A doorstop rubber 31 is hollow and is provided with a projection (a) disposed on the inside thereof. When a door 1 is closed to bring the doorstop rubber 31 into contact with the opposite member to be gradually crushed, the projecting portion (a) is brought into contact with a rubber portion (c) contacing the door 1, and spring constant gradually increases at that position. As the doorstop rubber is further crushed, the projection is gradually compressed or buckled. At that time, the volume of the hollow portion has already been lessened so as to produce compression effect of the projecting rubber. It may be good that a plurality of projections (a) (b) having several heights are disposed to change spring constant gradually. |
