PURPOSE:To produce a composite casting material provided with the advantages of alloy powder components and base material components by fixing and holding the molding of alloy powders in the required parts in the cavities of molds then charging molten metal. CONSTITUTION:A wire net bag 7 charged with alloy powders 5 and a metallic vessel or pipe 6 having microholes, that is, an alloy powder molding is disposed in the cavities 1 of molds. When molten base metal is charged through a sprue 3, the molten metal fills the cavities 1 and rises up to a riser 2. During this course, the molten metal infiltrated from both end parts of the pipe 6 charged with the powders 5 or the meshes of the bag 7 melts and diffuses the powders 5, thereby forming an alloy layer of a separate compsn. |
