SELECTIVE VOLUMETRIC CUTTING SYSTEM FOR EXTRUDED CLAY PARTS

The system comprises vertical knives mounted on a support, said knives being adjustable both in the horizontal plane and in the vertical plane. Said vertical knives are complementary with the horizontal knives mounted thereon with the capacity of self-adjustment in depth and are also complemented with cutting wires mounted in any position either between the horizontal knives or between the vertical knives. The assembly of knives and wires form a comb or mixed system with which it is possible to model by volumetric cutting extruded clay parts with cavities, to be used in a variety of fields such as building, decoration and the like. Said system is mounted on the frame of a cutter carriage provided with an elevating mechanism which provides the appropriate motion to the comb in order to make the desired cuts in the clay part.
