PURPOSE:To produce a cast Al magnet of superior rigidity and gloss in production of the cast Al magnet by mixing powder magnets applied with a surface treatment with Al or Al alloy in a half molten state and casting said magnet. CONSTITUTION:In a heating furnace 1, Al or an Al alloy 2 is melted to a melt 2 having about the temp. at which it assumes a half-molten state when mixed with powder magnets in the next stage. This is charged into a holding furnace 3, and powder magnets 5 vapor deposited with Si or Al on the surfaces are charged through a pipe 4. These are agitated with an agitator 6, so that the powder magnets are dispersed uniformly in half molten metal 7. This is removed from the bottom of the furnace 7 and is cooled and formed with multiple stages rollers 8. Since the surfaces of powder magnets are vapor deposited with Si and Al, the cast Al magnets which have good adhesive strength to molten Al, etc. and are provided with rigidity and gloss possessed by Al are produced. |
