PURPOSE:A silicone grease that is composed of polyorganosiloxane, fatty acid ester of polyorganosiloxane, as silica fine powder and a organomercaptan, thus preventing the scoring of switch contacts on light load. CONSTITUTION:The objective grease comprises (A) 100pts.wt. of polyorganosiloxane of formulaI(R<1> is halogenated phenyl; R<2> is alkyl of 3 or less carbon atoms; a+b is 1.9-2.7, a/(a+b) is 0.001-0.1),having a viscosity of 10-100,000cSt at 25 deg.C or its mixture, (B) 1.0-5.0pts. of fatty acid ester of polyorganosiloxane of formula II or III (R<3> is 1-8C alkyl; R<4> is alkyl of 3 or less carbon atoms; m is positive number), (C) 0.01-8pts. of silica fine powder, (D) 0.01-3pts. of organomercaptan of R<5>SH (R<5> is aliphatic hydrocarbon of 10-22 carbon atoms) and (E) 0.01-10pts. of sulfide of animal or vegetable oil or olefin. EFFECT:The resultant grease prolongs the operation life of high-pressure contacts such as in volume. |
