PURPOSE:To eliminate the deficiency of recording density due to breakage of recording layer by a method wherein the recording impedance of an energized recording sheet is adjusted based on grain size distribution of conductive material powder formed of metal oxide. CONSTITUTION:When an energized recording sheet is manufactured by forming a recording layer on a support member, the layer containing conductive material powder formed of metal oxide, color forming materials and bonding materials, grain size distribution of the conductive material powder formed of metal oxide is adjusted thereby to control recording impedance desirously and hence to reduce the degree of a stink which is generated due to breakage of the recording layer or at the time of recording. As conductive powder, powder of zinc oxide is preferable which has grain size distribution in a range of 0.3-2.0mum and the mean grain diameter of about 1.0mum. On this occasion, as grain size distribution becomes smaller, recording impedance of the energized recording sheet is reduced, while the impedance is increased as grain size distribution becomes larger. |
