<p>The self-propelled vehicle incorporates invertable lift-moulds (7) mounted below concrete hoppers (4), providing casting and ground level mould-striking suited to the mfr. of large pre-cast concrete products. Two posts, each comprised of two 'H' sections (1), are used to mount the hoppers and provide guide tracks for mould-handling elevator-carriages (12) supporting mould-inverting reduction motors (20). Hooks (26) fixed to endless chains traversing four pinions (24) are used to slide a cover (8) off the inverted mould at ground level. The chains are sited in post-base fairings (2) parallel to opposite cover edges. The machine, thus, hooks onto the cover and moves away to slide the cover from beneath a cast product, the moulds being furnished with rubber mountings (15) and portal framed ground-bumpers (30).</p> |
