Molluscicidal compsn. contg. surfactant - having improved effectiveness without loss of weather resistance

A pelleted molluscicidal compsn. for use against terrestrial molluscs contains an effective proportion of molluscicide and a surface active agent. The effectiveness of pelleted compsns. is markedly improved by inclusion ofa surface active agent. They are more effective in killing terrestrial slugs while still retaining adequate weather resistance. The amt. of surface active agent is generally in the range 0.05-1 wt.%, and best 0.1-0.4 wt.%. The agent may be non-ionic or anionic or, less acceptably, cationic, and the pref. agent is polyoxyethylene sorbitan mono oleate.
