PURPOSE:To obtain a controlling system by which the power source for a dust collector having a good dust collection efficiency can be constituted, by storing th number of times of short-circuiting of a load in a certain time to obtain the frequency of the occurrence of short-circuiting and controlling the power source output in accordance with the value of this frequency. CONSTITUTION:If a load is short-circuited, a voltage Vs is lowered in accordance with the lowering of a voltage Vp; and when the voltage Vs becomes lower than a reference voltage and a comparator 39 issues an interrupt signal, a CPU 31 distinguishes a thyristor 25 forcibly and adds one to the number of times of short-circuiting to store the addition result in a memory 57 and issues a signal 61 again to converge the voltage Vp to a set value and terminates the interrupt processing. This processing is executed for every spark discharge; and after a certain time T, a value N of the number of times of short-circuiting stored in the memory 57 is calld, and the frequency of the occurrence of short-circuiting (N/T) is calculated in the CPU31. When this value is improper, the CPU31 issues a proper command to the thyristor so as to output the voltage Vp by which the frequency of the occurrence of short-circuiting becomes a proper value. |
