The invention relates to a pressure-regulating unit for reducing the pressure of the gas-distributing system to the desired pressure-regulating-unit pressure, having a cylindrical housing (14) in which there are arranged an operating diaphragm (9), operating an actuating member (4) which is subjected to the effect of a compression spring (8), a compensation diaphragm (10), compensating for changing input pressures, and a safety diaphragm (11), all the diaphragms consisting of an elastomeric and gas-resistant diaphragm material. A frustoconical head part (15) is integrally formed on the housing (14) which is designed in one part, and the operating diaphragm (9), the compensation diaphragm (10) and the safety diaphragm (11) each have an annular, rigid reinforcement which consists of metal, is partially enclosed by the diaphragm material and adheres thereto. <IMAGE>
